Happened upon this little gem on the way home from Qualicum today. Very friendly staff, delicious food and drink, and we were excited to find artwork on their walls by an artist whose work we have in our home. Meant to be!
Stopped in for a breakfast sandwich and a latte, and both hit the spot. The sandwich—served on a bagel—was delicious and fresh. There was a new employee in training who was super friendly and kept smiling, which made the experience even nicer. You can tell the owner really cares—very attentive and conscientious. The overall vibe was relaxed and welcoming. Great spot to start the day!
One of the best cafe in town!! Stopped by for a cinnamon bun (recommend the special poppy bun) and mocha. The bun tasted super delish!! Definitely worth a try! The price is very reasonable!! Plus, the store feels very Christmassy

A friend and I met here to have brunch, but were a little late. The kitchen staff were asked and they allowed us to order the skillet dishes (normally breakfast/ brunch) which were absolutely delicious. The quality was very good and the price very reasonable. I’d definitely return. Please note that it was Wednesday early pm and though there were many tables, most were taken! It’s a very popular place, and for a good reason.

We visited the Brazen Poppy while waiting to get our winter tires installed and were very pleased we did, as we ran into some longtime friends there! The vaulted ceiling and large windows are welcome on a rainy fall day. Service is friendly and the food tasty. We appreciate the gluten free options. Glad we chose the Brazen Poppy.
